Cubannie Links August Promotions

I've blogged about Cubannie Links several times on The D Diaries so I had to share some news about various promotions they'll be holding this month. Cubannie Links will be doing a giveaway via Twitter, giving away a free gift with a purchase from their site, and also holding an event in New York City on August 24.

If you consider yourself a fashionista, jewelrynista, or any kind of "ista" then you definitely need at least one item from Cubannie Links. I'm a huge fan of jewelry and I'm a huge fan of unique jewelry so Cubannie Links is of course a win-win for me. For more information on the promotions Cubannie Links is currently holding check out the flyer below.

Picture Diaries: Vagabond Arts Fashion Show

Last night at HALO's Fashion Bliss, Meghan McKendree of Vagabond Arts celebrated the debut of her line of jewelry with an exceptional fashion show. Ladies and even a few gentleman strutted down the walkways of HALO clad in body paint and tribal art, rocking various pieces of jewelry from Vagabond Arts. The soundtrack for the evening was provided by Atlanta's own DJ Kemit.

I've been lucky enough to check out a few fashions shows in both New York City and Atlanta and Meghan's definitely was one of the most enjoyable. I loved the creativity and the overall vibe in general was really positive. Check out a few flix I got while attending the fashion show.

Stacy Armand Handmade Rings

While perusing the internet over the weekend I came across this great line of jewelry from designer Stacy Armand. Right now it looks like Armand only specializes in big, cocktail rings but these homemade gems are simply amazing. They're a mix of both modern and vintage and will definitely make any outfit pop. And for handmade jewelry, the price of Stacy Armand's rings is beyond reasonable.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Geometric Ring - $22

Lizard Knock Out Ring - $25

Beaded Gold Ring - $25

Large Crescent Moon Right With Gold Triangle Detail - $18

Spotlight On Edward Avedis' Key Pendant Necklaces

As someone who's a big fan of jewelry I love pendants that are able to make a bold statement without looking too gaudy or overdone. This is why I was really impressed by Edward Avedis' collection of key pendant necklaces. They come in a variety of styles and the lowest price is $315 which is pretty moderate for one of a kind jewelry. Oh, and if anyone would like to buy me one as a last minute Christmas gift you are MORE than welcome to!

Three Clove Key - $315

Heart Key - $935

Love Key - $955

Rachel By Rachel Roy

While doing some research for a piece I did for RefinedHype.com I came across designer Rachel Roy's line of clothing and accessories and I was blown away by a number of her jewelry pieces.

I'm really into accessories that are statement pieces, pieces that you probably won't see many other people rocking. This is why I'm really feeling a lot of Rachel Roy's pieces. And the great thing is her pieces range in price from the low $20's to the $100 and up range. I even saw one of her necklaces on sale at Macy for only $12.99! So if you're willing to splurge she definitely gives you that option.

Her pieces range from couture to Hip Hop (peep the Boom Box earrings I'm in love with), giving Rachel by Rachel Roy an extra heap of versatility. If you're feeling her pieces as much as I am check out RachelRoy.com or Macys.com.

Worn Gold Necklace With Pink Crystals, $75

Boom Box Wire Earring, $28

Two Finger Spear Ring, $32

Quilted Cross Body Bag, $69

My B-Day's Tomorrow & I Need These In My Life...

Yes, these...

And this as well...

And while we're at it just go ahead and throw these in the bag...

As you can probably see Cubannie Links is the shit. I love accessories more than I actually do clothing and Cubannie Links has been featured in a number of well-known magazines as well as on fashionista's across the country. I've yet to cop a piece of their jewelry, but if the b-day loot is looking nice I'm hitting up Cubannie Links A-S-A-P (Word to TI!).
