Pill's The Overdose + Mixtape Release Party

Earlier this week Atlanta's own P-I-Double-L released his much anticipated mixtape The Overdose. The Overdose will then (hopefully) be followed by Pill's debut album The Medicine. And in other news I now have a sudden urge to hit up the 24-hour Walgreen's for some over the counter action. I'm talking medicine people, calm down.

In celebration of Pill's The Overdose release he's throwing several mixtape release parties in The A, one of which will take place on Saturday, June 5. The release party on Saturday will be hosted by none other than Killer Mike and will feature performances from Pill, Gripplayaz, and Animal House. Pill - Real Muthaphuckkin G's (Video)

P-I-Double-L recently graced the internet with the music video for "Real Muthaphuckkin G's." The song will be featured on Pill's upcoming mixtape 1140: The Overdose. Pill again keeps the visuals simple for this video which is directed by Decatur Dan.

Although the video is just short of five minutes Vimby did a great job and this is definitely the type of video I hope I'll be making in the near future :-)

And for those of you in the Atlanta area Pill will be performing at Club Crucial November 18 and at Masquerade on December 5.

Pill - "Glass"

A lot of ya'll might not be familiar with Pill at the moment, but give it a few months and dude's gonna be everywhere. Mark my words.

Last month Pill released the Zach Wolfe-directed video "Glass" and this video is AMAZING. The realness of this video combined with the superb videography makes for something epic. Check out the video and look out for Pill's mixtape The Refill which will be dropping some time this month.
