I know you guys (well some of you) go crazy over Minaj and Amber so here's some pics of the two backstage at the America's Most Wanted Tour.

The Roots Continue To Kill It
The Roots have got to be hands down the most hard-working group in the game. Not only are they the in-house band for the Jimmy Fallon show, but they also perform at the Highline Ballroom several times a month as part of a residency they started months ago. Unfortunately, I have yet to actually attend one of The Roots' jam sessions but I've heard it's off the chain.
For those of you who have yet to check it out Highline Ballroom has just announced that The Roots will continue their residency in September. Dates are as follows:
September 1
September 8
September 15
September 21
September 29

DJ Hero Trailer
I have to admit I'm pretty excited about the upcoming DJ Hero video game. I don't have a Playstation, X-Box, any of that so I really have no idea how I'm actually going to play but I'm still excited nonetheless lol. Here's a video I came across that shows a clip for the game featuring music from Kid Cudi and The Black Eyed Peas.

New Andre 3000 Ish!
I was checking out 2DopeBoyz earlier today and I came across this jewel from Andre 3000. It's a snippet from a new song from Andre entitled "Lookin' 4 Ya". Hopefully, more new music from Andre and Big Boi will be released in the near future.

A3C Hip Hop Festival
I'm not too familiar with the A3C Hip Hop Festival, but I'm a big fan of music festivals and I'll definitely be checking this one out when it takes place in Atlanta on October 1-3.
I've seen a few Tweets about the festival, but I finally spotted a flyer for the event on Maurice Garland's site. Check it out.

They Obviously Weren't Warned
I know this picture has been circulated all over the net. But it really bothers me that this is going to be the last cover for Vibe Magazine. Apparently, they must have had no idea about the mag closing cause I really don't think they would put Christina Milian or The Dream on their last cover.

No Thanks Lady Gaga
Fella's have you ever wondered what it would be like to lick, caress, or tease pop sensation Lady Gaga? Don't be shy, you know you want too.
Thanks to Lady Gaga's Love Game widget you can do all that and more!! Sha-Winggggg!
To check out this ridiculous, I mean SEXY gadget, see below. Oh and in the words of Drake be sure to strap it up (Ha!).
P.S. The Lady Gaga lovin' gals over at The Girls I Love Blog are gonna love this :-P
NOTE: Had to take down the widget. My computers usually always on mute so I didn't realize the widget actually played music on my blog. That's a no-no.

Don't Front On No Doubt...
I know a lot of ya'll probably won't admit it, but I bet most of us have rocked out to No Doubt in the past (and even present). One of my favorite, older songs by the group is definitely "Spider Webs". Love that song. And to this day I still screen my phone calls...
No Doubt are among a number of artists reaching out to fans this season with their summer concert. On top of that No Doubt and tour sponsor State Farm will be holding a contest that will allow four fans the opportunity to check out No Doubt in Las Vegas on August 7 as part of an all expenses (even spending money!!) paid trip. The chosen winners will also take part in a Meet & Greet with the band. To enter, click here (contest ends on July 14). Good luck!

Slaughterhouse vs. Wu Tang
In the ultimate rap crew battle, who do you think would take the crown? In one corner you have the newly-formed super group Slaughterhouse and in the other corner you have legendary Hip Hop group Wu Tang Clan.
Now I gave this some thought and as much as I would like Wu Tang to win, because they are legends in my opinion...I'm gonna have to go with Slaughterhouse. If we were talking about a 1993 Wu Tang against a 2009 Slaughterhouse now that would be a totally different story. But this is 2009 Wu Tang we're talking about and I don't think they could outwin Slaughterhouse lyrically.
I think when people compare/contrast Wu Tang and Slaughterhouse and say Wu Tang would murder Slaughterhouse I think it's all just bias. It's hard to admit that one of Hip Hop's most recognized groups would get beat (lyrically) by some youngins (not that young).
Anywho, I'd love to know what you guys think on this. Which side would you choose: Wu Tang or Slaughterhouse?
Oh, and one more thing. If Wu and Slaught (peep the abbreviations) were ever to battle AND they just happened to include an R&B round Slaughterhouse would win hands down. Just peep the video...

Smokey Recaps This Week In Hip Hop
I was at a Hip Hop show this week in Atlanta and I came across my homie Smokey who I haven't seen in a minute. We were chatting it up and I told him about this idea I had for a weekly Hip Hop series recapping the week in Hip Hop. Needless to say he was down! So check it out. It's a little short, but if ya'll like it we got more in the future.

MJ Rehearsal Video
The video below was taken two days before the tragic passing of Michael Jackson late last week. For me it was pretty sad to watch. 'Cause you can definitely tell he still had it. And that little smile he gives at the end is truly heartbreaking.

Drake - "Best I Ever Had"
I know this blog title may be a little, okay A LOT misleading but I am NOT posting Drake's "Best I Ever Had" video. Why am I not posting the debut video for one of Hip Hop's most talked about artists? Because this video will be posted EVERYWHERE in the blogosphere so I figured I'd spare ya the redundancy. You can thank me later kiddies.
Instead, I'm posting a picture of the "Best I Ever Had" at Coldstone (lol)...And since I was totally misleading with this blog post I added a link to Coldstone's B-Day Club. Ya'll better sign up! It's basically free ice cream! Check for the link after the pic.
