Get Healthy Summer Hair Thanks To Carol's Daughter's Monoi Hair Care Collection

Just in time for what is sure to be a summer full of sun-damaged, frizzy, unhealthy tresses Carol's Daughter has introduced a new line of products made from Monoi oil. And for those of you who don't know Monoi oil is described as "a 2,000 year-old sacred, tahitian ingredient that undoes and prevents damage for fewer breaks, snaps and splits." And even better the oil is suitable for all hair types. The collection will feature a repairing shampoo, repairing conditioner, and repairing hair mask.

Check out a video of Carol's Daughter founder Lisa Price speaking on the benefits of the Monoi Hair Care Collection.

Carol's Daughter/TheDDiaries.com Anniversary Giveaway

Carol's Daughter's Almond Cookie scent is easily one of my all time favorite fragrances. The scent rivals that of the $60 and up fragrances you might find at Macy's and other department stores. The Almond Cookie scent is available in an eau de toilette, shea souffle, body butter, cleansing gel, and more.

To celebrate the two year anniversary of TheDDiaries.com I will be giving away three 4 oz. jars of Almond Cookie shea souffle. To enter all you have to do is e-mail me at Danielle@TheDDiaries.com with what you would like to see more of on this site. Winners will be contacted this Friday, September 17. Good luck!

Carol's Daughter's Hair Milk Line Review (Video)

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to try out Carol's Daughter's new line of Hair Milk products. The line consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and Hair Milk lite. Like the original Hair Milk product the Hair Milk line is primarily for women with natural, curly hair. The line is supposed to help in creating soft, manageable, and frizz-free curls. Check out my video review of the entire Hair Milk line below.

P.S. This is my first video review so take it easy on me! Also, the picture above was taken a day after using the Hair Milk line.

The new Hair Milk line is currently available for order on the Carol's Daughter site (products will ship by July 1).

Carol's Daughter Introduces New Hair Milk Products

Curly-haired chics unite! Carol's Daughter has just announced a new line of Hair Milk products. The new line is expected to help define curls and beat humidity even in the sweltering summertime heat. New products will include:

Hair Milk CURL PERFECTING Shampoo, $16

Hair Milk CURL PERFECTING Conditioner, $19

Hair Milk Lite The Curl Booster, $9-$20

I've actually used Carol's Daughter's Hair Milk on various occasions and I'm definitely a fan. It's very moisturizing and gives your curls a nice sheen without weighing it down. I'm also really big on scents so much so that if a hair product works wonders, but has a very unappealing scent I won't buy it. Thankfully though, Hair Milk has an amazing, lemony scent to it. I'm sure the new line of Hair Milk products will have a similar scent.
